Dr. Lori McCarty is a licensed Physical Therapist who graduated with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, DPT, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2004. Dr. McCarty earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington in 1999.

Dr. McCarty has various specialized experience in the areas of pediatrics, pediatrics outpatient, outpatient rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics, including cervical spine conditions, comprehensive manual therapy for shoulder, elbow, and hand pathology with a emphasis on sports rehabilitation. She also has knowledge and experience in joint mobilization, muscle energy technique, myofascial release, sports medicine massage and musculoskeletal dysfunction making her very effective in treating foot and ankle, knee, shoulder, spine and lumbosacral dysfunction.

Dr. McCarty is an affable and courteous physical therapy practitioner; showing warmth and friendliness with her patients. Her goal is to provide treatment to patients who are experiencing pain or disability, temporary or permanent and help them attain pain relief and return to normalcy, if possible.

She enjoys the outdoors immensely, and spend her free time hiking, surfing, and rock climbing.
